These are the board members serving with the ministry. It is great to be able to say that at present all board members have accompanied us at least once on a mission team to Eastern Europe.
Norman Kehl, Stratford, Ontario.
Norman is a father in the church. Supporting his wife Florence in the founding of the House of Blessing, a food and clothing bank in Stratford, and also a crisis pregnancy counselling service, Norman has been named citizen of the year in Stratford, and received several city and provincial civic awards. More recently Norman helped to establish The Stratford Healing Rooms. Norman accompanied John and Jane on a memorable ministry trip in Bulgaria. He attends Citygate Church in Stratford.
Mitch Whatford, Stoney Creek, Ontario.
Mitch is a long time supporter of Worship With Us and travelled with us on our first team trip to Bulgaria in 2000. He is a worshiper and family man, plays a mean saxophone and travels as part of a worship ministry team.
Bette Markle, St. Marys, Ontario.
Bette is the most recent addition to our board - since November 2018. She works as a nurse in palliative care and is experienced as the "pastor's wife" having served the church in Woodstock Ontario with husband Roger. Bette brings a quiet confidence and wisdom to the board.
Jane Goodwin, St. Marys Ontario
Jane is a founder of Worship With Us Ministries with John and is deeply involved and committed to the work of the Kingdom in many different manifestations through the organization. She sings, writes books, designs jewellery, speaks and loves her son and grandkids. Jane is ordained with Independent Assemblies of God, International Inc., in Canada.
Klaus Schmidsrauter, Treasurer.
The role of treasurer is not a board position but should be mentioned here. Our treasurer Klaus Schmidsrauter has been serving with this ministry as a board member and treasurer for quite a few years, for which we are very grateful. In June of 2016, as we made the final transition from Hamilton to St. Marys, Klaus stepped down from board responsibilities, but continues to serve as Treasurer. He has decades of experience in working for charities and churches large and small, and is a "stickler" for dotting the 'Is" and crossing the "Ts" - which we like!
John is a non-voting member of the board.
