Capfull Of Salvation

Jane wrote this as a kid's story book. Its great to act out as a drama. This would be the soundtrack. You can download the audio file and use it freely for presenting the drama. Narration by Rev. Ace Clarke. Original sounds by John. Story by God. Written by Jane. If you have a youth group, it can be done easily and at fairly short notice with a few simple props.

Droitwich

Its a folk-club song. But I added a brass band in the 'studio' recording version. Also a very English thing. One time we were walking at Symonds Yat, in the Forest of Dean and there was a band playing out in the open, by Yat Rock. This song is a true story, it happened to me and a friend of mine. She was pregnant at the time. Jane's gone beyond the point now where the story embarasses her.

If a Christian writes a song, but its not about God, is it still a Christian song?

God Has An Army

God has an army, and you're in it! Its you and me, buddy....

Gonna Praise

You have to imagine that Carmen is doing an impersonation of Elvis. No, really, it isn't either of them..... It was originally meant to be for a kids' CD, but people enjoy it, so I think I'll keep it for big kids.

I Am Yours

Mitch Whatford played saxophone and Faith Simms sang backing vocals for this recording.

I Bow Down

My YouTube video. Thanks to Dave Steeves at Videoman Productions for running this off for me.

I Will Worship You Lord

From "Stand Up!" -  I really like this song, if I can say that.... Its not complicated, but it seems to be really worshipful. I have this scene that plays out in my mind - a camel train crossing the desert sand silhouetted against a late evening sky. They enter a walled town at an oasis and as they dismount are greeted with smiles and hugs, and slaps on the back by a friend.

Jesus, Jesus

I imagine a choir, and lots of soul.... (musical soul that is - I imagine lots of spirit when we're worshiping!) Edie Clarke solos on the verses.

No Other King

Here's the latest offering - been a while since I posted here. Used the Doumbek I bought in Sofia on this one....

(From the new CD "I Bow Down")

Sing Praises To The Lord

This is from the Stand Up! album, recorded live, and getting on in years now.
