Mission TeamIt seems like the phrase of the year - "We're On Our Way!" Its that song of my son's, which I keep singing in my head, as we literally are on our way. Our one month mission to Buglaria and Romania started with the traditional team picture, taken on the front step of our house as we depart for the airport.

As usual we hit the ground running. Leaving Thursday afternoon and landing in Sofia Friday afternoon around 2 p.m. local time. The plane was a bit late, so we thought we might have missed our ride. I jumped on my laptop and contacted our local pastor friend Angel, who offered to drive us to the bus station right away. Nyama problema - we found Stefan, the Bulgarian coordinator for the Global Day of Prayer (what stories he has of God's provision and miraculous move in organizaing mass prayer rallies and connecting pastors in Bulgaria....). We got our ride to Kazanluk, straight into a meeting, late to bed and early to rise for a a day of Forum Meetings with ministry leaders from all over the country. Great connections were made, good times of prayer, heart moving reunions, and ending the day by eating at a "New York" grill. The food was NOT American! (Good though).

This morning, Sunday March 21, we had a blessed time with God worshiping at Bulgarian Evangelical Church, Kazanlak. (www.beckazanlak.org). Great to see our friend Stoicho, and Pastor Gencho. Paul Wakefield of Open Air Campaigners (www.oaci.org/romania) shared his testimony and I got to preach.

Tomorrow - on to Svishtov.
